Default Accessories

I have a small kit bag, by that i mean a few kit lenses, a few cheaper lenses, cleaning cloth, a cir pol filter and uv filter, tripod and flash.

What other things do i need?

I did consider adding to these once i get a new camera as the Samsung GX10 is getting on a bit now, but because of the toughness i think ill plan to take it with me on the outdoor trips when the weather looks alot worse for ware - more than the typical rain shower ...

SOOOOOOOO what else do i need or whats do you recommend?

cheers.

Mark

In addition to your list I also carry spare battery, extra memory cards in a Pelican case, a small microfiber towel to clean the camera in the field (compresses to very small packet, got it at REI), remote release, small white balance cards, and a very small Leatherman type tool.

A lot of what you "need" will drive from what and how you shoot. You may not need anything right now, you have to determine that by analizing the last few times you were out shooting, what was missing, what would have enhanced your shot... Example: a reflector is a great item and inexpensive too but if you never shoot portraits and only shoot wide landscapes and such you wouldn't put it to use often, if ever.

If you do any night shooting a small flashlight is handy.

Lens hoods, to help reduce flare.
