Default Macro rings

I do have a Nikon 105mm macro, which is a great lens, but I am looking for more detail in some shots, especially those of insects. I purchased a cheap set of macro extension tubes for about £8, needless to say they were absolutely useless. I have been looking at the Kelco three ring set for a Nikon fit. Has anyone used these and if so are they worth the £130 or so? Or any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Neal

If you mean Kenko, then absolutely yes, I have been using them for 4 years and they have worked flawlessly every time.

Same here but not with the Nikon fit ones. I guess they'll work the same as the Canon ones.

I'm a Canon user also, but I have heard from Nikon people that they work just as well.
