Question New lens, now what filters do i buy???

Hi Ive been interested in photography for years and just started getting some equipment together.

My main question is what filters (if any) do i get and for which lens

i have 3 lens at the mo

1. 18-70 3.5 - 5.6
2. 70-210 4.5 - 5.6
3. 50mm 1.7

You dont NEED to get filters, but they do offer the possibility of special effects that arent attainable otherwise. It depends really on what you want to do

Question

ive been asked to do some work for an alternative nightclub.

and i have a friend who sells fish ponds and is wanting photos for his website.

the nightclubs not too bad my 50mm should be ok for that, but i can seem to get good pics of water??

and for myself, i love landscape shots

As for me I would not be without Circular Polarizer (CP) Will help with reflections and intenisify colors in landscapes. I also use Graduaded Netural Density filters quite often.

The circular polarizer should help reduce glare from reflections off the water. It is most effective at a 90 degree angle relative to the sun. I use a graduated neutral density filter to reduce the brightness of the sky relative to the ground, since the sky is usually way brighter. I wouldn't buy a UV filter.
