Default Sdhc
G'day I have a dick smith SDHC class 6 8GB memory card.
I have had it with my Nikon P100 and now with my NikonD3100, but have never before had trouble with it, yesterday i formatted it in the camera and went out and took 77 photos, came home and copied them to laptop, today I went out and took some photos, I had taken about 30 when the camera suddenly said that the card was not formatted and would need to be formatted before use, I tried turning camera on and off, I also tried removing and replacing said card to no avail, I put in a sandisk class 4 8GB card and have had no problem, I have tried to get photos off the dud card but the computer says it has to be formatted before use?
Does anybody have a solution to this problem?
The photos are not that important as the first lot are on the laptop and the rest I just took again but the cards are not cheap and I am about to go overseas and do not need that happening whilst i dont have my laptop.
Please help!!!

It corrupted. It happens. If it's new (or within the warranty period), I'd say return it (or refer to the manufacturer)
