Default Raynox DCR-150 vs Marumi 200 macro convertors

Guys.. has any1 tried Raynox DCR-150 or Marumi 200 i know the image quality is fantastic on both these macro convertors. The advantage I see on raynox is that it will fit on anything from 43 to 67mm so I can use it against a wide variety of lenses.

1. Is there anything that makes the marumi a better option??
2. Also any place I search I have seen ppl using these convertors only with super zooms and not cropped DLSR's. Is there gonna be problem in using these convertors with my Rebel T1i?
3. I am planning to use these on my canon 55-250 as diopters work well with the longer focal lengths. Assuming I shoot bugs wat is the closest i need to be with these convertors strapped on?
4. I read that its better to get the convertors with 77mm (incase I buy the marumi) and buy filter rings to reduce size as they allow more light to come in and also it helps on reducing cost incase I plan to use it on a proper macro lens or others lenses at a later stage.

I knwo thats a lot of questions but would like to hear from you guys on these to narrow down on one..

Thanks
