I want to print photos A3 size on Hahnemulle Baryta paper or Somerset Enhanced 225gsm paper. Can anyone recommend a printer that can take thick art paper and A3 size that I can buy in the UK?

It's called a professional print house.

Then you print the next standard size up and cut.
Honestly, call Epson, Canon, etc directly. Ask. Find a printing discussion forum. I dont think anyone here has this kind of equipment at their disposal.

A Canon 9000 or Epson 2880 should be able to handle the papers. The Canon is about half or less the price of the Epson. You can mail order the papers.

I`ve got an epson gx-5600 (Which is the Japanese model number for the Epson R2880) and it can certainly take 225gsm and A3+. It`s maximum paper thickness is 350gsm
If you have the money and space, the 7990/9990 range are excellent for printing just about any size you would want. If you do your own printing, you`ll want to invest in some cutting equipment to cut to nonstandard sizes. Not a terrible price in the UK on amazon at the moment - though it can be found cheaper... http://www.amazon.co.uk/Epson-Stylus.../dp/B001A4YR2C If you go that route, I recommend getting calibration equipment to profile your monitor, printer and paper.
