Default Flash Card issue (EOS 7d)

I recently bought the 7d so am using a different type of memory card - the compact flash UDMA (8GB) - the Transcend card works in my card reader (in my HP computer) but the Calumet card I bought cannot be read -- I have to download from the camera which is a pain -- they let me swap it for another but the same thing happens ... what the???

You likely need to update drivers for the memory card reader. You can probably go to the HP site and find updated drivers for much of the hardware installed in your computer.

Well I disconnected the drives and restarted and the computer said I was up to date ... so still don't know what the problem is ...
