Default Jim Poor....THANKS!

I got the Spider Holster for christmas based upon your recommendation and some research...and I'm LOVING it.

It's just too cool... I have it set up with an arca plate and R-Strap both mounted to the spider plate which is way cool. No switching anything regardless of what I want/need

I have also found that I can mount the "holster" part to the waist belt of my Boda Bag which is NICE.

Now, if it will mount securely to my climbing saddle as well....

So, you like it then?

Good to see some word about this - I've been thinking about one for my ep-1. How do you think it would handle with a small camera?

I think it would work fine...I would think the baseplate might seem excessively large for such a small camera though.

Sorry I missed this! The only reason I found it was it popped up in my Google alert for my name. Took them long enough!

Glad you like it. I have three of them now. Well, two belts and three sets of hardware.

ravncat,

I took my D3100 to Disney on the Spider Holster and it worked wonderfully.

Can you provide details/images of your boda w/ waist strap and spider holster combo? My wife has been using a boda bag and wants to get rid of the neck strap she's been using. She has neck problems and getting things off her neck will make a big difference. The spider holster seems like a great solution (and she has friends that use it), but we're wondering how to combine the Boda w/ waist strap and the Spider.
