I have a nikon L110 P&S camera and wanted a way to fit my old filters to the front....This camera doesnt have threaded lens and the zoom lens comes out about 3-4 inches when switched on.
My old filters are the cokin square type with a couple of mounts ii.e. 49mm & 52mm. Any ideas would be very welcome

What size Cokin filters are they? You might be able to use something like this: http://cokin.fr/ico15-B.html but they both only take A size filters, so if you're using the P size it probably wouldn't help.

Excellent! Hope that either that or a DIY solution works out for you.
If their holders aren't quite long enough I would think it would be pretty easy to DIY something.
