Long time lurker, first time poster. I hope im posting this in the right area!

I have been practicing photography for about 15 months and I'm really enjoying it! I'm not confident enough yet to post any of my photos but i've been learning so much on this forum from all the helpful members.

I'm looking at adding the Canon 50mm f1.8 II Lens to my existing twin lens kit that came with the Canon 450d. After shopping around for a few months, i came across this online shop:

The prices are so much cheaper then anywhere else i've looked. I cant see any postage charges except a 2.5% handling if the product is under $1000 and comes with an 18 month Manufacturer’s Warranty. In their FAQ they state they sell imported goods and i believe they are located in Hong Kong.

Just wondering if there's anything i should be weary of and if anyone has bought anything from there before?

Look into the import laws for Oz: they're strict, but you may be okay. Also check with Canon Australia to see if there are any issues with buying "grey market".

They're not on Reseller Ratings, so take that into account as well.
