Well. Just got my pelican case in the mail yesterday. 100 dollars from B&H.
It is a 1520. It is big, but lightweight. I think it will suit me for now and a bit into the future. Attached is one image of my current setup. I will be adding my battery charger, spare batteries, and filters to this too. I am not sure If I will put my remote in here. Also attached is my first ever test of the strength of the case. I have already broken my 15 mm's focussing ring. So I wanted to make sure that this case will be able to withstand almost anything... hahaha I will also be putting packs of silica underneath, to prevent moisture.

We use these a lot at work, and they have stood up amazingly well to what we put them through. The only problem I've noticed is that the prescored foam will come apart over time. As you pull objects out of the foam, they will pull a little on the individual foam pieces and eventually they will come out. We will either inject glue in between the foam pieces or get a solid block of foam and cut it out ourselves. But other than that they are indestructible. Well worth the money.
