Hi guys I haven't posted in a while but Christmas is coming and I want to get a cheap telephoto lens. It needs to be under 200 and I read through the under 200 thread and saw the Sigma 70-300 mentioned a lot. I own a Canon XS and I will be using the lens predominately for wildlife. Originally I wanted the Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 III but i have heard it is not as sharp at the Sigma 70-300mm Macro APO. I do not have the money for the APO version so I am looking for opinions on which lens to get The Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG Macro(not the APO version) or the Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 III. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
