Default Tamrac Evolution 6/8 Query

I am looking in getting the Tamrac Evolution 6/8 but it is quite expensive, I just got to make sure that it is the right investment.

I really like the layout and how there's a variety of ways to wear it.

My current set up is 5D MarkII, 70-200mm f/2.8, 24-105mm and a YN-587 flash.

Which one would you guys recommend? (Evo 6/8)

Any of you guys have this bag or products made by Tarmac? What do you guys think of the built quality? Do you think that the layout of the storage is useful?

Lastly, are there any similar bags by other brands with similar functions?

Any additional feedback/comments would also help!

Thanks!

Jason

I have a Tamrac Adventure 7 and a couple of Tamrac small holster bags.
Build quality is good.

Lowepro make a similar line of bags in the Fastpack series.
I own the Fastpack 200 and it is my carry-on bag for international flights.

Of the two Tamrac bags.
I would get the larger of the two bags - mainly because a 70-200 + 5D makes for physically long combination with the lens mounted.
If you are constrained by carry-on requirements then the smaller bag may meet your needs.

Thanks! I will look into it, I currently own a Lowepro Slingshot AW202 but I find that having all the weight on one shoulder is quite tiring and painful if I am carry it for long periods of time.
I saw that the lowepro fastpack series is very similar to the one I have, so I think i am still leaning towards the Tamrac with all the small pockets. But the price is $$$ . . .
I live in Hong Kong, so I will have to do some research and find the best deal here.

Thanks for your help!!
