Having found out that the D300s no long has IR rendering the Ml-l3 useless for this camera, I started looing at what could be used...
It was suggested that the Phottix Cleon N8 the (N8 being the adapter of the Phottix Cleon range that suits the D300s - other adapters are available for other brands / makes) Has anyone had any experience with remote or wireless shutter release fo rthe D300s and or the Phottix? |

I use Yongnuo RF-602s with my 50D (my 5D Mark II has the IR sensor my XT had built in. Yay!) The nice part about the 602s is that they do double duty as flash triggers, too; and that you won't have to deal with IR line-of-sight, bright sunlight washout, or range issues because they're radio triggers. The bad part is that you have to buy them on eBay and they ship from Hong Kong (but they do offer warranties and return policies on their gear if you buy from them), and that you have to attach the receiver to the cable release port to use 'em as a shutter release.
