Default Software HELP!
I am a very new Photographer and just bought a Nikon D3100. I'm not even sure if that is a good beginner camera.

Can you please recommend a software for me if I am a beginner and I would like to get the best editing software I can with my limited skills?

Adobe Lightroom or Apple Aperture will help you catalogue, sort, cull and correct with a lower learning curve than Photoshop, GIMP (free), Elements (about $100).

You can download and use either program for a month trial—free.

There are lots of instructional videos online.
