Probably depends on who you buy from.
I got 2 extra 3rd party batteries with my battery grip and they are just as good (or it seems) than the canon one that came with the camera. I would definitely try one before judging them all. Just pick a reputable seller and you should be fine. edit: Forgot to mention that the batteries of course fit in the one that came with the camera also.
