Default Lens recommendation

Hi Friends and Photo enthusiats.

I am looking at buying another lens. I currently own 18mm-200mm lens and a 500D body.
Need suggestions on

Best Macro lens
Recommended Wide angle lens

Currently on my list is the 50mm f1.4.

Thanks everyone. MY budget is upto 1500 AUD.

Hmm. The 50/1.4 is neither a macro nor a wide angle lens. Just thought you should know.

Personally, going by the fredmiranda reviews or the-digital-picture.com reviews or what lensrentals has to say about a lens won't steer you wrong.

Owning a Canon 450d myself reading countless reviews, here is what my suggestion would be:

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM

However if your into macro bug photography and can afford it the Canon EF 180mm f/3.5 L USM macro might be a better choice,

My next lens upgrade will be in this order:

Canon EF-S 10-22mm f/3.5-4.5 USM for shooting architecture in town and wide landscapes

Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 USM L IS For shooting birds and long distances

Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 USM macro for macro bug shooting (no budget for the 180)
