Warranties for gear

Hello all

I posted this elsewhere but hadn't seen any responses or even that many views to be honest, so I am going to try and add it here as well.

I was hoping the good people in this forum could offer some insights surrounding Mack warranties, specifically those offered by Adorama. I am about 3 seconds from pulling the trigger on a new 60D and want to get an extended warranty. Adorama offers the mack 5-year extended warranty. Does anyone have experience with these?

You can visit Mack Camera & Video Service | Worldwide Extended Service Contracts for more in-depth details on their individual programs, and it is also worth you taking a note of the contact details of Desiree, the Customer Relations Supervisor for Mack; she can answer any specific questions regarding the warranties and can be reached via email at helpdesk@mackcam.com .

If you need to make use of the warranty, you call Mack's 800# and they will tell you where to send it, even overseas.
