So the lens zooms in and out just fine, but at one end of the focus ring (when it's farthest to the left) the ring becomes tighter to actually turn and the auto focus won't turn past that point. I don't think this would bother me if it wasn't for the fact that where I use the lens the most is when it's racked out and that point where I need the position of the focus ring to be at that point is where I shoot most with that lens.
Has anyone had this issue? Is it an easy fix or do I need to bring it in? I don't see anything obstructing it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

I have a Canon 70-300 F4.5-F5.6 IS lens and it doesn't have that problem.
I would contact Canon about having it serviced/repaired.
