I have a circular polorizer, Red 25, and a Neutral Density filter. Im new to using the filters, is there any tips?? Can I put them together and use them? Mainly, How do I use the Red 25 filter with black and white pictures?

The pololrizer will be used to reduce glare on refletive surfeaces and to darken skies and make clouds stand out better.

The nutral desity filter will be used to block out light without affecting the color. Use it when you want a longer shutter speed.

The red filter will be practcally useless in digital color photography as that effect can be done in post processing. In B&W photography the red filter can be used to darken the sky and darken green objects like leaves and grass. a general rule of thumb is that a coloered filter used in B&W will darken a (opposite) Complementary color.
