Who uses what?

I am thinking of getting this guy today.

I have the Spyder 3 pro.
It is a very nice unit.

I use the Spyder3 Express and it seems to work fine. I've calibrated two different monitors with it and the trickiest thing I've found about calibrating in general is that it take me about two weeks before I start to see the new calibration as "normal."

Amazon.com: ColorMunki Photo - Monitor, Printer & Projector Profiler: Electronics

Though, I should note - it`s expensive, at around 450 dollars - but unlike the Spyder - it allows you to also profile your printer and match print to monitor. The spyder only calibrates the monitor...

You have all the tools that you need if you have Photoshop. On a mac you also do not need to purchase anything new for monitor calibration.
