Hey all!
I was browsing thrift store photo equipment when I ran across this lens. http://i51.tinypic.com/rs4woh.jpg It was cheap, so I just grabbed it. I knew it was a video camera lens and everything, but I wasn't sure if there was any possible way (lens adapters?) to connect it to my Canon Eos 7d? I've tried looking and looking, but I can't seem to find anything specific enough. I can hold it up in front of my lens and take pictures with it (in reverse) and I get an interesting effect like this: http://i52.tinypic.com/2vry4c3.jpg and http://i55.tinypic.com/6yd4ds.jpg So I was just curious if there is any sort of adapter for these types of lenses to dslrs? Thank you ![]() **Edit: I found this photo on flickr: http://www.flickr.com/photos/burydimirtis/2517783169/ that appears to be a photo taken with this lens attached to an Olympus E-500. So thats what made me think its possible in the first place. |

It should screw onto the front of any 58mm filter thread lens like Canon's 18-55. Hence the x58 at the end.
Essentially it multiplies your focal length by 0.7. So an 18-55 would become a 12.6-38.5mm, though the image quality likely wont be nearly the same.
