Default Sigma 18-250 mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS

I'm thinking of getting a Sigma 18-250 mm f3.5-6.3 DC OS lens to replace my Sony 18-70 and Sony 75-300 lenses.

Do you have any experience and/or comments about this lens?

Is the Sony equivalent to the Sigma worthy?

Looking forward to your comments.

I have the 18-200 and love it. It's my all around lens and is on my camera 98% of the time. I just ordered a sigma 50-500mm this morning to extend my range. I also have the 70-300mm sigma and might get rid of that and slim down to my 18-200 and 50-500 and my 50 prime.

Ive had the sigma 18-250 the last 6 months and it has become my standard carry around lens. You will not regret getting that lens.
