![]() Hey guys, Ive tried looking on the forum and unfortunately i cant find anything, after seeing this BRILLIANT video from advertising photog chase jarvis: YouTube - Chase Jarvis TECH: Complete Workflow for Photo and Video Im thinking of a western digital 2b, but these g-raid drives are looking good.. i want a 2tb drive and i dont really want to spend £300... what are your backup solutions and what brand of hard drives do you use? thanks!

Well I am only telling you because you asked. My new system has an 80gig SSD as the C: "drive". Then I have four 2TB drives set up as a RAID10 array for data, and a partition on the array that the C:drive gets backed up to. Then I have a 1.5TB and two 1.0TB USB drives that I use as backup.

They all suck these days, the bigger they get the more prone to failure. The 2TB drives are all Hitachi, but I am less concerned about them since it is in a redundant disk array. The externals are WD and Seagate.
