For someone more technologically advanced than myself, can you hook an external monitor to your laptop? I would like to buy a monitor to use for photo editing as I am having a hard time with my laptop screen. Does anyone know how this can be done and can you recommend a good monitor for under $200?

yes you can. the Q is what type of output your laptop gives so you can get a monitor that supports that connection.
Check your Laptop, it most probably does have a VGA/RGB output (the one zona mentioned) & if its a new laptop it might have HDMI output too! which will way better than the RGB one. PS: almost all Monitors do have both RGB / DVI / HDMI but its better to double check the connections. |
