Default What bag for camera ?

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a new bag for my camera set-up as my shoulder bag is just to small now
Was wondering if anyone has some suggestions ?, I have been looking at the LowePro Fast Pack 350, or one of the tamrac x4/x5/x6

would rather it be cheap though, planning to take it up to the lake district where it rains a fair bit.

Currently have a Alpha 350 with a 18-70 & 70-200, but looking to get a 105 macro and possible a 400mm(end of year so not just for this lens) and have selection of filters, cable release spare battery + minor accessories.

Is there anything anyone would suggest ? warm against ?

Thanks
DarkNinja

I went through this same thing, but my bag was too big and heavy to carry around, Decided to give a backpack a try, but didn't want to spend much money in case I didn't like it. Went for the Canon, because it was cheap and had some pretty good reviews. I'm happy with it so far and I can stuff a whole bunch in it and walk some trails easily.

If you are not a Canon user, the logo all over it might bug ya.

I've had a LowePro Slingshot 200 for about 2 years now. I love it. It carries my 20D w/batt grip, 4 lenses, and my backup PowerShot. It also carries a cleaning kit, battery charger, and a bunch of other stuff, including a GorillaPod lashed to the side. It's really comfortable to wear, and really easy to get the camera out of in a hurry.

I had a full sized backpack with rollers before. Don't remember the brand. It was nice, still fit under the seat in an airplane...barely. But I didn't like the Velcro'd dividers on the inside. They allowed you to configure it any way you wanted, but they always ended up coming loose on me, and I'd open the pack to a bunched up pile of camera stuff in the bottom.
