I just got a Canon 55-250 IS lens today, it was an anniversary gift from my husband. I will be doing a shoot tonight with a senior girl. Is this a good lens for outdoor portraits? I also have a sigma 28-80 and a canon 18-55 IS. Should I just stick to one lens for the evening or use the others as well? Advice before 7 p.m. is greatly appreciated! (Thats Montana/Mountain time)

Should be fine, if a bit slow at the long end. Stick around the 105 range, aperture priority around f/5.6 (close to wide open). You'll have to stand a bit further back, but it'll be good. Also consider a 50mm f/1.8 lens.
