Hello all,
I have a 5D MKII and a lowelpro bag but I'm looking to get a small grab and go bag for it. Just something that I can fit the camera with 70-200mm lens, a few CF cards, extra batteries, & lens blower. I'm thinking something like a messenger or slingpack style... So please give me your compact bag suggestions and why you like it. Thanks, ~Zechariah P.S. Link to buy bag would be very helpful

I'd be interested in opinions as well; if I keep my DSLR I'll need a better bag, and something like this would be perfect!

Is the 70-200 attached to the camera?
or is as well as the camera & standard lens?>

Lowepro has a great Product Finder tool.
Inputting "5D with attached 'compact' zoom", I got a few options. Some may be a bit small: a compact zoom the 70-200 is not. But it gives you something to aim for.

I use Tamrac Velocity bags as my "grab and go" bags....I carry a velocity 7 to carry lenses and flash etc with camera separate, or a Velocity 9 for a couple accessories (lens/flash) and camera in the bag. I found the 7 slightly small for my D300, but it would probably suit you well...

I've been using the Lowepro Apex 140. On a recent trip to the States I managed to fit the D90, 35mm, 50mm, 85mm, two hoods, two filters, three battery packs, and a polarizer. By looking at it you'd never guess the capacity!

Lowepro Rezo AW. The 170 or 180 should do you just fine
My Olympus E500 fits in the 180 with the 70-300mm lens attached (so long as I don't keep anything in the little spot sewn into the cover for memory cards - and I don't; I have a separate card case for my cards). The 170 is still my "go to" bag, and the camera fits with my Sigma 105mm lens attached, and sticks up a little with the 70-300mm lens attached. The 180 went to Disneyworld with me. It held: camera body w/attached lens - which was either my 105mm or my 70-300mm, at any given time, whatever lens I wasn't using, flash (Metz 48AF-1), tabletop tripod, iPhone, P&S camera, Wallet, & accessory bag (comes with the 180) holding: small package of kleenex, benadryl, travel-sized container of contact lens conditioner & small blower brush - and that was just inside the main compartment. Spare battery & additional case for CF cards were kept in the front zipper compartment. And the AW cover definitely came in handy during a few of the water rides

My problem is that I want a bag that I can put my XSi in with the 18-55 on it and still have the 70-300 and my 50mm in the bag as well. My current Tamrac bag I have to have the 70-300 on it, which is really inconvenient most of the time (I use the 18-55 a lot more).
