Hello Guys
I am planning to take a long trip. On the trip I won't be bringing a laptop with me. I know there are portable hard drive where you could plugin your SD card and have all the picture files download to the hard drive. What is your recommendation? I don't need a fancy screen to view the image, just need a hard drive where i can transfer SD card file to it (without a computer). Thank you Jason |

Hey Jason,
I was in the exact same position. Just wanted a reliable backup/space solution. Didn't want the fancy color screen (actually my camera screen is better than most of these devices anyway) nor the ability to edit anything. Check this out. Simple but very effective. Sanho is not making the original Hyperspace but you can still find some around. This is where I found mine. SAHDS040 Sanho HyperDrive Space, 40GB Memory Card Backup Storage Device for 18 Types of Memory Cards. You can put any 2.5" IDE Hard drive in it so don't bother buying the 160GB version. It'll be cheaper to buy a separate HD. The batterie is a Lithium Ion 18650 (3.7V 2200mAh). I'm telling you this because these are faily hold (still new but were never sold) and the batterie was dead on the one I ordered (Lithium-Ion really don't like to be fully uncharge... they don't start back). It was cheaper to order one from a batterie store near my place then ship it back for a replacement. Keep in mind you cannot find these very much anymore. Hope this help, Simon
