Hi
Can anyone help with my printer problem or at least point in the right direction to get some help? I have upgraded my PC to Win 7 and have a Spyder 3 Monitor calibrator, the problem is what I am printing is way off what I see on screen all of a sudden. It printed a couple of large prints bear perfect and now the colours are way off. I think it might be low ink or some colour management problem. Does anyone have a similar set-up that they could share. I have an assessment due Mon and have to print ![]() Thanks Michelle

I moved up from the Epson R1800 and I love the prints from the 2880. I print on glossy paper usually. I had to exchange the printer, though, because the first one would not recognize the Epson ink cartridges. The exchange printer has been fine so far after 80 prints

I just recalibrated my monitor using Spyder3, and my Epson 2880 prints are pretty much spot on now. What program are you printing from? I print through Lightroom (and occasionally Photoshop). Make sure that your color management settings are being handled by the program you are printing from and not by the printer. And use the iic profile that was created when you calibrated your monitor. Here is a link to the color management guide from Epson. It's a good guide to help you set up your color profiles.
