Question Trying to find a good camera bag.

Hello everyone again, I'd like to get all of your experience yet again, lol.
I've been trying to decide on getting a camera bag or not, and I've just recently got my first portrait request, and another week event request, so I've pretty much decided I need a bag now.

I've been looking at deviantArt's bag here for -quite- awhile now, but when I finally decided I wanted it, it's out of stock =(
The main thing I liked about it is the draw out at the top, making an easy access to the camera without opening up the whole bag (and risking something falling out while on the go).

Any links to similar bags (especially ebay, lol) would be much appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I use Tamrac Velocity 8x, and i'm quite happy with it! Perfect space for body with attached lens, another lens, and flash. Plus there's space to stick you memory cards, ID, credit cards, phone, ect. Most important - after putting all of the above in - there's still some space for a sandwich!

I have a Case Logic SLR backpack and I am very happy with it.

The camera can be reached from the top (as you need it) and it has good space inside for a pair of lenses or a lense and a speedlight, plus it has two inside zipped compartments where you can carry filters, memory card, remote control, cell phone, wallet, etc. And it has an exterior compartment where you can put some other items, and in the sides: one with a mesh pocket and the other with a straps for the tripod.

The best: I got it for 40 usd. from Walmart.

Here are the link to the Case Logic website and the model of my backpack:

Daymen Lowpro Sligshot 100 AW Digital Backpack....I bought it when I bough my t1i...it holds my kit lens, my 50mm and would hold one more smaller lens..and the body of course. It's got a built in rain coat if needed. It slips around to the front when you need to get something out of it...and you dont need to open the whole thing to get your camera and a lens out. Lots of handy extra zippered pockets for gum, phone etc.

Thanks for all the replies!
The Tamrac had my attention, but I'm really impressed with the slingshots.
Thanks again.

A bag is a personal choice and I have/had many. My primary bags now are a Tamrac Velocity 7 for carrying lenses/ flash etc with my camera carried separately. I use a Velocity 9 for carrying stuff and my camera in the bag (D3 with up to 80-200 f/2.8 attached). I have a backpack (Lowepro and a MountainSmith) for when I need to CARRY more, but I usually use a Pelican 1514 when I need to bring most of my gear and carry what I need in a Velocity when on site. I particularly like the waist belt of the larger Velocities for extended use when loaded.
Lastly, I use a vest quite frequently for wildlife/sports...

I have a Domke bag which I do quite like for when I want to take a fair bit of stuff with me. It's mainly for when we go to parties/events where I know I can leave my camera bag unattended and not have to worry about it because it gets very heavy carrying as a shoulder bag.

If we're going hiking, then I take a backpack style one that has a compartment on top to carry lunch/rain jacket. After the 15km it still feels like I have the weight of Atlas on my back so now I tend to rationalise what I take with me rather than trying to cover all scenarios.

Another idea you could use is to get a plain satchel bag that has a reasonable amount of pockets on it (for lunch, phone, wallet etc) and order Domke inserts to put inside it. I have a bag for just that purpose....it's what I take with me on my city walks where I don't necessarily want people to know what I'm carrying.
