Post Best Lighting Equipment for new part-time photog?

Here I am a former TV News Broadcaster, photojournalist, producer, reporter...you name it, I did it...who wants to keep her love of photography alive, while continuing a career in communications. Family and friends constantly ask me to take photos for their events...including weddings, senior photos, etc...so I might as well start making some money, right? Especially, now that my event-request list is expanding beyond those whom I would never charge for photos. I wouldn't call myself an amateur, given my years shooting video and years of shooting still as a hobby...but I'm hardly on the pro end with Digital SLR.
I love natural light and use it in all possible situations, but I realize that if I am going to turn this into a profession, I should invest in some lighting equipment. I have a Nikon D200, with an 800 speedlight, and several lenses. Any suggestions for the lighting equipment you just can't live without for wedding photography, portraits and the like? Also, noteworthy...I don't have a studio! I have photoshop, which comes in handy, but I don't want to be a photoshop-ographer.
I know a photog who recently ordered Alien Bees...your thoughts?
Thank you in advance for all of your suggestions!

I use an Alien Bee 400 with a large softbox and a reflector for studio portraits and I love the results. I only work on location and it sets up quickly and easily at clients' homes. Quite a few people here on DPS have AB's. Their customer service rocks, too!

ABs are quite popular and definitely worthy of consideration! Also take a look at the Calumet Genesis and Travellites and the Photoflex Starflash. All three of these brands are well built & offer a large selection of light modifiers and accessories
