Soft Box + SB900 is a good combo?

Hi All,

I want to get a soft box for my portraits photography, I thought it's better than getting an umbrella due to light quality.

I've came across Ezybox, Apollo...etc where you can mount the flash unit on the stand and use it as a light source.

Is it worth in investing in such solution? does it really do the job (looking at the fact that I'll be using just a flash, not strobe)?

I don't want to pay for something which will not be of benefit.

yup, a colapsable softbox that can fit is far better IMHO than an umbrella.

i have "softbox umbrellas"
open lik an umbrella, but lookjust like an octagonal softbox when open.

i love that thing... never use normal umbrellas anymore
