Your thoughts on the 16-35mm 2.8II usm for portraits

What are your thoughts? Most use it for landscape but I am liking it for portraits???

I've used my 10-24 (on DX) for portraits. It's definitely a unique perspective that takes some practice to get right.

its "unique"
not commonly regarded as a portrait lens thats for sure.. wide angles will distort the features.
but hey.. if you like it then just do it

I often like a wider angle for portraits (and unusual vantage), but the customer seldom does....
