I found some really good deals on lenses, but am scared to buy used Id hate to spend 1400$ and end up with something that breaks 2 months down the road. Anybody purchased used lenses from them??

I have, but not that expensive, and I'm interested in old built-like-a-tank manual focus lenses. The grading's accurate, although not as conservative as KEH used to be. Both B&H and Adorama are good for the used stuff and have quite decent return policies. Just make sure you're ok with their return policies before buying. I have no hesitations buying used from either.

I've spent almost that much ($1200) buying used lenses from people on Craigslist. Never had a problem. Just take a body with you and test the lens out. That is how I acquire most of my photo gear.
