Default 1000 Watt Tungsten Light Kit?

I've been offered a pretty good deal on two light stands and the lights... and I'm looking to increase my 'studio lights' options. I only have two stands currently with flash/model bulbs that wirelessly sync to my flash.

So, not having a lot of experience in studio equipment (I'm more of a buy it now and figure it out by trial and error later person) ... what would these be used for? Specifically, it's this kit: Impact | Tungsten Two-Floodlight Kit | 401490 | B&H Photo Video

at about half price... but good deal aside... if I don't know what I'm using it for, it seems like money wasted.

Advice? Thoughts? Instruction, however basic?

One thing I have found you do not want to mix Flash with tungstang lighting.

Also I bought roughly that same kit from wolf camera, and the bulbs are very fragile in them. I had three blow out in the first 3 hours of using them. One blew the first time turned on. Other two lasted about 10 mins each.

Since you already have two off camera flashes I would save the money and find a couple more flashes and a couple of stands,

Then again, for the 100 bucks for that kit, it might be worth it just for the stands..
