Website Photo Gallery Software?

Looking for a great quality photo gallery software. My current gallery software is logistically good, but the photo quality is very poor...thus, I will not be de-faming any company today ;-).

My needs are for a gallery (several images in row(s), and click for larger view option), and perhaps a slideshow for several albums. I need the gallery for my clients to choose images, and possibly for my actual website gallery as well. The slideshow may be for my website only.

I have had to resort to creating for my clients a Photoshop Elements 7 album that is hard to see detail: ie: TEKESHA AUSTEN

My current website hosts a slideshow of 2 separate albums on my photo gallery page and is not great quality either: Photo Gallery

What are you using out there? ...o, and I don't want to pay an annual fee...

For a simple, customisable gallery / slideshow, take a look at SimpleViewer | Spectacular image galleries made simple.. There's a free version, and a much more versatile "pro" version which is $45. There are plug-ins for lightroom and Aperture so you can export directly into a new gallery.
