Lowepro Shout Out!

I just finished corresponding with Lowepro about my old bag.... It has started to develop a couple little stress or wear holes in the side. Nothing huge, but they bug me, and I know they will grow.

On a whim I emailed them, because I see they have a life time warranty. Now comes the fun part..... I have better odds of finding a lost tribe in Africa than the original receipt.

No problem at all... here is your RMA send us your old bag and we will ship you out a new bag.....

Wow, so I am blown away already, but it gets better. I don't really want to be without my bag for a week or so and not to mention the cost to mail something that large would probably be fairly big, so I emailed back when I noticed their address is only about 20 minutes from my work and asked if I could drop by.

The response was to come on by Monday morning, ask for the lady I was dealing with and we will swap bags for a new one.... Just like that.

In a day and age where customer service is almost non-existant and nobody seems to stand behind their product, this is such a refreshing change. I should also mention that this resolution was within 24 hours of me hitting send on the original email. I liked the Lowepro product before, but I am head over heels in Love now...

Anyway, if you are concidering a new bag.... and customer service is important to you, do yourself a favor and look at the Lowepro products!

I was not going to be able to pick up the bag on Monday, so I went today and it was absolutely painless.

Super customer service!!

The Trekker is discontinued, so they gave me the Vertex 200AW. What an awsome bag, lots of improvements over the Nature Trekker, especially in storing little stuff like memory cards.

Anyway, they say customer service is important to them, and they sure proved it to me!
