Default Monitor Calibation Device?

Hello! Does anyone have a monitor calibration device that they would be willing to lend me? I would pay the shipping charges. I would love to buy one but it's not in the budget right now!

Thanks!
Alison

You could certainly rent one, but do remember that monitor calibration isn't a one-off activity, it's something that needs to be done regularly.

My Spyder3 utility reminds me every time I log on that I'm overdue for a recal. [Which takes all of 3minutes - I really should get on with it].

I've been wondering how regularly something like this needs to be done. How often are we talking?
I just received my test prints from WHCC and the color is definitely off. I figure why waste the time to post process pictures on my monitor if the colors aren't accurate.
Maybe it's worth investing in one after all!

It is worth investing. I have a huey Pantone that cost me about $70 when I bought it a few years ago. Here's the one that I have, http://www.amazon.com/Pantone-MEU101...0565310&sr=8-1, although there are others to.
