Do any DPS'ers use or tried out a B-Grip ?
Here is a link to the product page Just Ltd - Cleaning Products for Cameras and all Optical Equipment - B-Grip I would be interested in any comments from folk who have used this method of carrying a camera. |

I'd be a little worried about missing, and dropping the camera.

Interesting idea, but definitely not for me. I'm with Jamie. I'd be terrified of missing and having my camera take a nice 2-3ft free fall.

Nope don't use that. I use this.
![]() I did see a person use two camera in cowboy style holsters along with a rifle butt attachment to "shoot" birds.

A more sturdy metal version - Home : Spider Camera Holster
I have thought about it for shooting weddings, but I'm not sure they will be quick enough so I've stuck with one slung over each shoulder.

I actually use a Lowepro Street and Field belt system. It's a large padded belt with attachment points for lens cases, and then a lens case for each of my lenses/a flash. WOrks great for PJ and event work.

I have been wanting to get an r-strap by black rapid. I would post the link to their website but I am not quite sure that I am able. You can google it.

![]() b-grip is an absolutely different product in confront to the others here named. It's a comfortable and rapid system to carry the camera without neck lacing, it's not a bag or a back pack. We developed it to meet the need of carrying the camera without tiring the neck and giving a way in wich the camera is directly "gripped" to the body. The most important thing is that the camera does not dangle...never, when jumping, running or simply walking, the particular patented solution unloads the weight of the DSLR to the body giving a real comfortable and useful alternative. Moreover it's very useful for saving lenses when you place the camera on a surface, it's a kind of safety padestal, also useful as a monopod an with a plate that fits some of the most used quick release tripod heads. If you have any question please ask at info@bgrip.com we will be glad to answer. Regards |

The Spider Holster is very much aimed at event shoots - I would not want to walk very far with a camera dangling & bumping against my hip. The B-grip is a way of comfortably carrying a camera while out walking or jogging & even vaulting fences - still having it readily accessible to use. Beats my Lowepro AW300 Slingshot thats 4sure. |
