Slik Pro 340 Tripod?

Anyone have any experience with this model or Slik tripods in general?

I need a Ballhead tripod that collapses down small enough that I can strap it to the outside of my pack and hand carry it on buses/trains without slamming into everyone. The Pro 340 is high "enough" at 57 inches, collapses down to 20, and is priced right though I'd be willing to spend more to get one smaller and more collapsible at the same or greater height, assuming quality.

Any experience with Slik or recommendations on other tripods that match/beat the size/quality of this one would be greatly appreciated.
