Default Nissin Di866 Professional Flash

I have been doing some research on a external flash that I should save up for :P I am quite attracted to the Nissin Di866 Professional Flash, with the colour LCD screen. The second choice in my wish list is also the Di622. What do you guys recommend for a amateur in photography?

Any of you guys got experience with this flash or equipment by Nissin? From your past experience, what do you think of them?

Lastly, what do you guys think of Nissin flashes in comparison to flashes by Canon (e.g.Canon Speedlite 580EX E-TTL II Flash) ? I have noticed that there is a significant difference in price between the Nissin flashes and the Canon flashes, what are the significant differences?

Thank you for reading! :P
Sorry for asking so much in one thread

(I have attached photos of the Di866 off the website)

There's no Nissin for Pentax so I don't know much about it, but I've heard good things. Looks very nice as far as features go.

ddr — Metz makes very high-quality flashes, easily as good as the camera-maker brands.

Wonder if anyone has had any personal experience with it? The price is quiet low in comparison to the Canon Speedlites so I am quite worried about the functionality and quality.

Thanks for looking!
