Hi, I am an owner of a Nikon D60 camera and I recently bought an Opteka Fish Eye Lense (0.35 x AF), but there's a problem attaching it to my 50mm Nikkor lense.
The first photo is taken without the fish eye lense, the second one with. The fish eye lense seems to create extra blur, especially around the edges and lighten the image. Furthermore, the fish eye lense works fine with the nikon D90 kit lense (18-55mm). Could someone please help me with this problem? Thank you |

Just about any screw-on fisheye or wide-angle adapter like this is going to hurt image quality

Ditch the converter and get a real fisheye lens?
Why not just use your kit lens if you want a focal length of 18mm? (50mm*.35 => 17.5mm)

Yah, sorry. But that doesn't mean you can't have fun with the converter on the kit lens.
Alternatively, you could rent a fisheye.
