I am wondering is the Hoya pack of filters worth it

I am wondering does anyone know if the Hoya filter packs are a good buy or are you better off if you get just like one of there UV filter like this filter pack here Hoya | 52mm Introductory Filter Kit | GIK52GB | B&H Photo Video

That really depends on what "it" is. Worth it? If you have a specific use for each filter and know what you are going to use it for, then sure. If you just got a notion that filters might be a good thing to have around, then no.

Jim asked the most important question: why do you need these filters? Do you know why you need them, and plan to take photos that will require them -- or is it because someone else recommended them?

Personally, for my own photography, I would find the Polarizer useful, but the UV and Warming not so useful. But then again, someone else will feel exactly the opposite.
