Exclamation Trouble finding the right backpack!

Hey everyone,
I am on a search for a new camera/laptop bag and I am having trouble finding one to meet all the specifiacations. I am hoping one of you out there knows of a bag that will work for me...

I am searching for a rolling camera bag that also holds a 17inch laptop and can fit into the international carry-on requirements. I have searched and I can't find anything...so anyone who might know of a bag such as this...I would be very very greatful!!

Thanks in advance!!
Tonya

I recently got a Lowepro Slingshot 202W, which is too small for your requirement BUT you can maybe look into getting the same model (but bigger size) - Lowepro Slingshot 350.

I am really pleased with the slingshot, great function and very user friendly with smart design ! I would really recommend it!

Check it out: Lowepro - SlingShot 350 AW

Hope this helps!

Thanks Jason!
But unfortunately it doesn't hold a 17inch laptop
I will keep searching! Thanks for trying though!

A friend of mine just picked up a large kata backpack/convertible sling bag. It holds a laptop but i don't know about the 17" thing. The design and build quality of the kata bag is excellent. One of my co-workers has one of those monster laptops too. IIRC he was carrying it around in the box for the first couple of weeks that he had it for lack of a laptop case at any of the local stores.

thinkTANK Airport TakeOff (I've got one) Rolling, Holds everything, has a built in cable lock, is airport carry-on size, holds a 17" mbp - converts to a backpack for when it's muddy!

Oh, and here's a discount code as I work with thinkTANK (I run their Twitter / Flickr)

That's quite a bag, probably a lot more than I need. The shape shifter looks to be more my speed. I'm just trying to get into one bag. I'm carrying a laptop and camera bag when I need them both. My next laptop will be smaller but for now I'm stuck with this 17" beast.

Actually, CRAP!!! I just read the specs and it holds only a 15inch laptop...dang!
Well, either way, huge thanks!

I actually found one that will work, only thing is it doesn't turn into a backpack which would be really helpful in some cases... the hunt continues...

Picked up the shape shifter today. Its not exactly what I wanted but my present laptop doesn't fit in most bags even for those supporting "most" 17" laptops. My next laptop will be a LOT smaller but until then this bag will due nicely. The one feature I really wanted was to be able to have a Canon 70-200mm f2.8 L attached to the camera in the bag is I wanted. On the bright side I'm moving from two bags to a single bag.
