Default What camera strap do you use?

I have been using the strap that I got with my camera since I got it. I was thinking of buying a new one.

I'm in search of more comfort? More functionality? I don't know what, but I thought it would be a good question to ask the DPS crew.

What camera strap do you use? Why do you use it? Where can you get it?

okay... go!

Purchased via EBay

For my other camera I use the one that came with it as it is mostly used on a monopod or tripod..

I've never had the need to use anything but the strap that came with my camera.

Lowepro Transporter. Nice wide neoprene pad for my neck, quick releases so I can dump the strap when I want to.

+1. My strap is so old and worn (bought it about 20 years ago) I have no idea who made it, but it's also neoprene with quick releases, and it makes one helluva difference in terms of comfort and the perceived weight of the camera over the strap that came in the kit.

However, if you want something non-slip, maybe the UPstrap is more your deal. I've never felt the need, since I tend to wear my strap crosswise from shoulder to opposite hip.

went on a very short hike thru the desert and my Blackrapid R4 held my 5D MK II very well allowing me to hike at ease, with th ecamera on my back hip and hold my manfrotto tripod and carry my other bag with my 40 cal pistol and extra bullets, water and soda.

This is great!

Thanks everyone! I have never seen the R Strap before, but it does look interesting. My only question about the R-Strap is, what do you do when you are going between a Tripod and hand-held? I you would constantly be changing back and forth.

Strap looks nice and comfortable though...

Almost bought this yesterday! In fact, its the reason that I started this thread!

I also have looked at the UPStrap as well. I know its NON-Slip and I could totally see myself investing in it, but is it uncomfortable when worn around the neck?
