Hi I am wondering who makes a nice but not expensive filter ? I know I have seen a few different names out there like Bower, Opteka, Rokinon, etc. . I have also seen Tiffen and Hoya which are for a litte more and so I am wondering who makes a nice filter

TIffen and Hoya are near the top (Hoya more so). Best of the best is B+W.
Filters dont necessarily need to be expensive, but you do generally get what you pay for.

Cokin makes an inexpensive and flexible filter system though I would not use them for certain filters. If you are buying a polarizing filter you should buy the best you can get. UV filter? Cheap is fine.

I have seen some Sony filters that were not expensive. I am wondering because I have not heard anything about Sony filters so, I wonder are Sony Camera filters a nice filter. I just have not heard anything about so I wonder
