Spherical Panoheads - NN5 w/ rd16 or Manf 303sph?

Hello,

I am considering getting a spherical panohead and have been looking into either the Nodal Ninja 5 w/ RD16 or the Manfrotto 303sph.

Can anyone advise the differences between the two? Do they both do the same thing easily? Price is almost exactly the same so I want to get the best value for the money.

I also want to make sure that if I go with the NN5, that it will work with Manfrotto tripod legs.

I have no idea of an answer to your question, but a better place to ask might be the panoguide forums. Those guys have tons of experience with all the pano gear that's out there. I quite like my NN2, but it's a completely different beast from the NN5.

I will say that when you're shooting spherical panos, leveling becomes a non-issue.

The NN heads can be used with both 3/8-in and 1/4-in screw threads on tripods.
