Default Shopping list advice..

Well I am doing a little shopping end of next week, and was wondering if I am missing anything important...

Loaf of Bread
Gallon of Milk
a Stick of Butter....

Oops wrong list.. Anyway, I am trying to put together a small home studio for practice on portraits. Maybe a 10x10 space. Here is my list so far.

two strobes, haven't decided on which two yet, really want to go with the alienbee 400's but don't know if I can pull the trigger on 500 bucks for just the strobes yet, before I know if I can even learn this stuff.

two umbrellas and stands. White, with a black cover.
backdrop either bought or made.
Wireless triggers for the strobes.

Lens: Thinking for the price, I should get a 35mm f/1.8G AF-S as well.

I have the remote shutter release already as well, plus I think a decent tripod.

Is there anything I am missing or a different lens I should be looking at for this?

Thanks in advance

Dennis

Well got the go ahead from the ruler of the house to spend a little money this week.

So I am putting together my list. Wonder if any one had any thoughts on the items?

Battery grip for the d40x.

Nikon 35mm f/1.8G AF-S DX

Think Tank streetwalker harddrive backpack

Lighting kit
eBay

Backdrop support
eBay

Muslin
eBay

Hoping to use it to practice on studio shots and strobe lighting. I can read how to do it all day but I learn by doing. Kids and wife are going to hate me for a while

Thanks for the response,

I have changed the light kit to this one.
3 studio flash/strobe, softbox,3 backdrops, more - eBay (item 360232768932 end time Feb-16-10 07:14:56 PST)

After reading a lot and looking for manufacture specs, dont like the look/sound of the original.
