Automotive Photography

I'm hoping to do a bit of automotive photography, I'm just doing mates cars at the moment. This is probably one of the better ones from the bunch, but I'm struggling to make it 'pop' compared to other photos I see on the internet of cars.

I've only one flash, and the ones I took with that don't look great.

Is it the PP, I've noticed that I'm always editing the shots quite dark, I'm not sure if that takes anything away from the photo, and whether it's took dark for you?

Considering the car is the subject I think it's way too dark, not the photo as such, just the car.

I'm sure his advice would help you in your quest.
